If you are here to get files from my Arduino based autoreverser circuit as shown on NERx, they are here (right click on the link to download):
Whats the Buzz? Some people have noticed a buzzing sound coming from their locomotives. That is the pulse wave modulation turning the power on and off. The simplest idea is to use an old DC throttle to control your maximum speed and set the reverser circuit to 100%. Then the buzz should only occur when the unit is starting up or stopping. I am working on a way to use a different motor controller and setting the PWM frequency in the sketch.
Reflective IR sensors- The sensors used are cheap. They rely on infrared light bouncing off the locomotve and back to the sensor. Some model paint is not IR reflective. You can also get false trips from sunlight. I am looking into differnt sensors. They are 3 for $9 on amazon. If anyone is interested drop me an email and I will modify the sketch to use them.
I will be releasing a Youtube video which expands on the original presentation, including using those better sensors and eliminating the PWM humI will post the link here when it is finished. If you would like an email notification, drop me an email.

ORDERING MODELS: CLICK HERE TO VISIT MY SHAPEWAYS SHOP. It is the only way to order models.
We all have seen some really nice buildings, but they either use unrealistic attempts to make every window look like the curtains are drawn, the window is a black hole, or you can see the building is completely empty inside.
BUT, if you look around this site you'll see that you don't have to be afraid if someone looks in your windows!
Be Sure to check out the FAQ page for information about cleaning and painting your models.
All ordering is done through the Shapeways.com Website. I design the models and they print them. Clicking on a model, or a category of models, will take you to their website.
If you are interested in how I apprach 3D design you can visit my Blog at: http://dcyale.com/blog/
Below are some examples of models available. If you click on the links below they will take you to the Shapeways Website where the full line is shown, and the models can be ordered.
